Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the STB Elite app and this website. By installing or using STB Elite, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use STB Elite on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the rules of the app store you got it from. You may not copy, modify, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the app, except where the law allows this.

2. Acceptable use

STB Elite is a media player only and includes no content. You agree to:

  • use the app only with services and content you have the right to access;
  • follow all laws that apply to you, including copyright laws; and
  • not use the app to access, share or distribute content without the rights holder’s permission, or to interfere with any service or network.

3. Disclaimer

Please read our Disclaimer & Acceptable Use, which forms part of these Terms. In short: STB Elite does not provide any content, has no affiliation with any provider, and is provided “as is” without warranty.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, STB Elite and its publisher will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or use, arising from your use of or inability to use the app, or from any content or service supplied by a third-party provider. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will change the effective date above. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of the State of New York, United States, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
